طی جمع آوری نمونه های گیاهی از استان خوزستان، نمونه هایی از گونه eleocharis atropurpurea و همچنین گونه های cyperus iria, fimbristylis miliacea و schoenoplectus lupulinus جمع آوری گردید. گونه eleocharis atropurpurea برای اولین بار از ایران گزارش می شود و بقیه گونه ها به عنوان گونه های کمیاب از ایران جمع آوری شده و به همین جهت منطقه انتشار آنها گزارش می شود.
گونه myosotis diminuta برای اولین بار برای ایران گزارش می شود. این گونه در سال 1392 بعد از گذشت بیش از صد سال از آخرین مشاهده مستند آن در جهان، درتالابی کوهستانی در منطقه دمیرلی زنجان واقع در شمال غرب ایران مشاهده شد. جزئیات آرایه شناختی و تصاویر گیاه به منظور تسهیل شناسایی صحرایی آن و همچنین ویژگی های خاص برای تشخیص از گونه های خویشاوند ارائه گردیده است.
